• 1. What are the limitations of my free account?
    InverseAudit accounts are free to create. These accounts grant access to shared asset benchmark analysis and energy audits for collaboration with other InverseAudit users. The only features you cannot access with a free account are energy savings calculations with custom measures during virtual energy auditing, and AI-assisted analysis. With a free account, you can:
    1. Create calibrated baselines.
    2. Share with team members.
    3. Full access to asset benchmark analysis.
    4. Calculate energy costs savings based on fully implemented measures of energy codes (ASHRAE Standard 90.1, IECC, BEES, FEC, NCBC, OEESC, CBES, NEC, and SPS Chapter 363).
  • 2. Do you offer refunds?
    Paid plans can be refunded within 30 days of purchase. The Professional plan also includes a 3-day free trial. After that period, send us an explanation of your circumstance and we will consider your request on an individual basis. We issue refunds as appropriate and applicable. All requests should be directed to support@inversenergy.com.
  • 3. What happens if I don’t renew my subscription?
    If you don’t want to renew your subscription after it expires:
    1. You won’t lose any work. Your baseline model and energy audit data will continue to remain private.
    2. You will be able to use all features that you could do with a free account: updating your baseline, viewing Asset Benchmark and sharing with your teammates.
    3. You can continue to access and print latest energy audit report. But, you won't be able to use ECM explorer to update your audit analysis.
    If you decide you want to renew at a later date, that’s fine — you’re welcome back at any time and regain full access to the features and functionality for your analysis.
  • 4. Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
    You can cancel your subscription at any point to stop any future payments on our site. To see how easy it is, click here.
  • 5. How is Professional different from All-in-one subscription?
    With a Professional subscription, you can access the full features of our software. An All-in-one subscription goes a step further for building owners:
    1. Building owners An in-house engineer will process your building using our software and deliver an energy audit report as you expect in a traditional audit process. It takes only a couple of days to get the report.
  • 6. Can monthly bills be used for analysis? What is the difference compared to interval data?
    Sure. However, a model calibrated with interval data would reflect a building's performance more accurately. Our research indicates a difference of approximately 10% at the end-use level. Besides that, everything, including outputs in a report, is the same.
  • 7.How to obtain interval meter data?
    To use interval data, you need at least one year of historical, whole-building electric interval meter data (15, 30 or 60-minute intervals). There are three ways commonly used to get interval data:
    1. Utilities make raw interval data available for download directly through their customer web portal with the Green Button option. To check if your utility offers the service, click here.
    2. Data logger is an electronic instrument that records measurements at set intervals over a period of time. Low-cost kilowatt hours data loggers are available in the market.
    3. EMS (Energy Management Systems) are automation systems that collect energy measurement data from the field and make it available to users through graphics.
  • 8. Can you help me get interval data from my electricity provider?
    Sure, we can help you with that! To get started, please provide us with the name of your electricity provider, the account number(s), and the account holder information. Once we have this information, our team will contact them on your behalf and let you know if the interval data is available. During the process, we will need you to authorize us to access the meter data by contacting your electricity provider.
